After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse at Inova Alexandria Hospital on an inpatient telemetry unit for a year and half, then transitioned to an outpatient free clinic. While working there, she enjoyed primary care so much that she obtained her nurse practitioner degree at George Washington University. She currently lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and is expecting their first child.
